Freds Mexican Cafe Mobile Phone App

The people over at Fred's Mexican Cafe have taken some great strides in entering the Mobile App marketplace. Right now you can download and begin using their Fred's mobile app available on both Iphone and Android devices. The app is a pretty unique way to connect with the restaurant. It provides you GPS guided directions from your location to the Fred's location nearest you. It gives direct phone connectivity to the restaurant, video of each location, menu and general information.

Fred's staff and GMs have informed us that a new version of the app will soon be available in which you will get notifications of dining specials and discounts exclusive to Mobile App users and a Check-In feature for each location that earns you the user points towards great prizes like Free Dinners for a year and trips to their locations in Hawaii. They will also notify you on yoru birthday about free promotions tailored to you. Also the extra bonus is if you are traveling with a large party of people you can click on their tab callend "Private Party Hotline" and get imediately connected to their group events coordinator to book yoour table and any extras you will need. Pretty cool and unique considering we can't find any other small chain of restaurants out their taking advantage of the Mobile App marketplace.

Their marketing and promotion of the App is pretty cool as well. Developing the slogan "Kiss my App" and "Tap my App" Fred's gets to use their funny and often finely tuned cultural college vibe to attract people to download and use the app.
